    Critical Race Theory

Is critical race theory a problem ? Or is it a few obscure academic paper that nobody has read, and FOX news made it up to feed the culture wars because the Biden years are boring?

Here’s the google trends view for critical race theory, notice the sharp spike when around March when COVID started going away and the news got bored. My suspicion is that people who buy into this are simple prey for demagogues.

My hunch is there is a covert OP to fill our heads with as much unintelligible, contrived bullshit as possible.

Things that truly aren't sensible to give us a feeling of powerlessness under the guise of some higher intelligence understanding them.

Simplicity is true brilliance, though. They're not trying to unite the races; they're trying to confuse, divide, and conquer.

Same goes for a ton of so-called "scientific" academia. This just in! Trolls are "machiavellian narcissists": concepts that can't possibly be understood.

    The folly of brainwashing geniuses...

It’s basically Marx’s Critical Theory with an added dose of racism. But it masquerades as “sensitivity training.”

It's my personal belief that The Tech Giants are planning to separate people into two classes- the Elite, as in them, and the Good Sheep, those who follow and conform well with them. The techies want to weed out those who will cause dissent, so they can put their attention into their own business by using the lower class for their needs. All of this we don't know yet, but the fact that they are not denying alien life now, might give way to something interesting they may have up their sleeves.

Correct me if I'm wrong but when I take a look at what its about, its primarily about critical looking at an aspect of society and not primarily about achieving some goal through any means, the latter seems to be why it is regarded as problematic by certain folks? Perhaps that is partly caused by how it got media attention this year in the first place (even though its 40 years old already)?

          It's wrong. Institutionalized, at least.

And kind of racist. Like there's just a "way" to make amends.

So even if I agree with you there. My point isn't about what it is.

My point is it's so obscure that's it's almost meaningless without the media playing it up for culture war views, so they can sell our demographic anti bald-guy pills between 7-10 PM CST.

You say that as if Marxs critical theory IS without doubt problematic. I mean you answer lode s question with this. If you ment it like that what is so problematic about Marx's critical theory? It seems to me its about critically looking at an aspect of society, which doesn't hurt on itself (more on the contrary)

Dare I say that Marx was concerned about this as well in a way. Classes and abuse and exploitation of the lower class.

lode I am sorry but google algorithms and manipulating peoples searches provided does not mean anything to me with regards to that chart. I have been complaining about crt and the bs books written by people like diangelo and Kendi. I am not the only one, difference is that some people have started to finally hear ppl, when before they completely disregarded it or google simply hid this from search engines so not many could look too closely... which I think is the case.

Since 2008 I have been talking about critical race theory online and with ppl on this forum. I criticized Obama way back for setting up extra funding for schools who brought the this into grade schools and I was scoffed at. They were completely unaware they had been indoctrinated into this cult that is very destructive. Designed to divide and divide it has done. There is zero justification for racism... and taking white kids away from their classmates because they are white and told they are the bad ones. Talk about conversion therapy. Tell everyone that because of the colour of your skin you must be racist and the problem.

this is one of many schools that received funding for teaching this shit under Obama.

If this would be the crux of critical race theory it would be easy to reject the theory altogether.

The three posts expressing "like" in words on this page made my heart happy. Amerijuanican likes the way 6 put it. Asmo sees where Juanican is coming from. A heart. Sorry I just had to point that out :-)

                    It's so much better.

Okay, so if some black people like CRT because they want the attention, they must be feeling unacknowledged. That is unfortunate, but CRT...

Well, even the moniker is insipid. "CRITICAL" race theory.

Being critical based on skin color is no help at all.

Yep and it is critical to one specific race and blames that for everything. It is insanity and is racist, promotes it. Making the people an experiment. Obama even said that he was doing an experiment on the people which was to divide them into camps based on skin colour for votes.

Yeah, but that's because they think we can't possibly get along. They just don't get that got it just don't get it when it's nothing at all. We stick together. Fool, we stick together. Then what makes us then what makes us then what makes us? Inspiration.
