Just kidding obviously.

But if Russia invaded Ukraine, the world war 3 that could follow could lead to a counter attack , involving so many nations sweeping across and through the Holy Land Ukraine with that incredibly mighty Ukrainian forces, to fight another Stalingrad or successfully occupy or incinerate Moscow!

Not going to happen of course! By Stalingrad I just meant another huge bloody battle between Russia and invaders from the west. But Russia will be in deep trouble if they invade Ukraine!
My main reason for starting this thread is I'm shocked that Putin feels the fall of the Soviet Union is the greatest tragedy to afflict the 20th century.
That simply doesn't make sense, because what Putin stands for these days, is completely the opposite of what the Soviet Union was pushing, enforcing, and standing for.
Putin sometimes speaks like a fanatic Religious leader against "moral depravity and decadence", puts the Church and State in the same bed, zealously promotes Christian faith and morals, and condemns the errors of the Soviet Union, almost more than any other powerful first-world politician I can think of...
So, how could he be stating the collapse of the Soviet Union, which his actions and words condemn, (more than other leaders) is a bad thing for the world?
I mean, yes, he would like control of more of Eastern Europe. That makes sense , even if it isn't good or morally sound. But he stands for the opposite of what the Soviet Union stood for and promoted, and Soviets even outlawed what he is doing and saying.
If Putin were saying some of what he says these days, in the Soviet Union, or trying to put government and Church in the same bed like he does, Soviets would have at one time put him in a gulag or had him executed.
He should be praising the collapse of the Soviet Union. Instead he's apparently claiming it is one of the worst tragedies of modern times!
Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
