Other, larger and more robust studies found no difference in outcomes between patients treated with hydroxychloroquine and a placebo.

The study that you cited is authored by Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, and his cocktail of treatments for Covid was featured on Fox News, touted by Trump and his cabinet members--hardly what I would consider censorship.

The hydroxychloroquine treatment was also tried in many major hospitals and found not to be effective, and the combination of drugs taken with it can actually be quite dangerous if administered wrong.

Another issue of people adopting this method of treating Covid, despite the fact that it hasn't proven helpful when considering ALL (collective, and not cherry picked studies) evidence, is that HCQ is used to treat other dangerous diseases such as lupus--now there is a shortage of the drug for folks who actually need it to live.

The study you sited hasn't been published yet, and the best data we have so far indicates that HCQ is NOT effective. Who knows, perhaps this study will set of a new chain of research and it will be found effective. No one really knows much about how to treat this virus. But I would take OPs post with a BIG grain of salt for now.

The research for the Covid vaccine (well-mRNA vaccines in general) was taking place far before covid-19 existed. From a quick Google search- HQC costs about $150 dollars per dose (requiring multiple doses), and the vaccine is between $3-20 dollars a dose (requiring 2 doses). The HQC needs to be given in unison with zinc and Azithromycin ($3.50/dose). Arguably, pharmaceutical companies are losing money by using the vaccine.
