Season starts next week. Anybody care?

Royals have gone 15-8 through the Spring season so there is hope that we won’t be as crap as the past few years. But we will probably be crap.

I am somewhat excited, thinking I might try to catch a couple games here in San Diego, might provide a sense of normalcy from Rona.

For the teams I root for, I expect the Oakland A's to do their normal routine and be an early round exit in the playoffs, if they get there. The San Diego Padres should be a lot of fun to watch, like last year, however I'm not quite sure how they'll do over the course of 162 games. I think they benefitted from the shortened season last year and that they still need to learn how to win consistently. Even if they do have an exceptional season, they got a historically good Dodgers team in their division coming off a World Series title, so it'll be tough for them to win the division. They'll have to play LA well and not have lapses against teams they should beat.

I think i'm going to do a couple of Atlanta Braves games this year. It'll give me an excuse to spend a couple weekends in the ATL

I don't follow baseball at all really but I love going to games.

I'm like Meliai I'm not a huge sports fan but I'll go to a live game. Can't stand watching sports on TV, but I'd like go to a cock fight if I had tickets.

i'm with the girls, i can't watch the shit on tv but live games are lots of fun. i haven't been to one since the last time the indians blew a world series (i didn't actually go to those games, just the watch party outside the stadium for us regular poor people). there has been some talk about going this summer though.

I find that the game is cool but it takes a long time to finish.
I will however, play it on my nintendo wii.
