  • Den of Negativity

If anyone is less than enamored by Mr. Clean, straight men, and rich people, say so here.

Realize a band sucks? By all means.

Don't give a flying fuck about royalty?

Just generally tired of women and their gimp SOs insisting you never be negative and always be positive about everything all the time while they rip you off? Say so.

    Cause I can't.

      1. Thank you for this thread Neon
      2. Pink Floyd is the most overrated shit as fuck band in history. Guitars aren't even in fucking tune on that first album. 2nd most overrated band are the Beatles, stupid fucking annoying boy band from the 60s - love, love me do, you know I love poo - The kind of shit Hemmingway could have fixed when he was still in the womb

Are you a weed guy? I kind of feel like Pink Floyd is a band that almost requires some sort of drug to listen to.

I wish I could make fun of artists that don't appeal to me, but I'm too responsible.

BlackPink uses legions of bots to boost the algorithms to fool children and dumb motherfuckers (usually sorority and fraternity ho's and bros) into thinking it's not anything but utter trash.

Already regretting this thread. It seemed righteous at the time. My feelings were hurt, and I was mad at everybody. Now everybody's feelings are going to be hurt. ?

Nobody can be positive all the time. fucking period. They may not talk about it or somehow, these "optimists" we'll call them, are bothered by negative thinking.

            WUT?!

It's human to sometimes be down and negative.

Society expects us to all be versions of Stepford Wives or we're wrong, trouble, etc etc.

We hear "live like today is your last" and such .. but you go to that and see how long it takes to get in trouble.

Surely the only thing we can do to overcome any of that is to laugh at it and don't get hurt. just don't get in trouble.

I liked Wally Cleaver's definition of an optimist: someone who could fall off a cliff and be thinking "I think things will be alright" the whole way down.

lol. Of course Eddie Haskell was my kinda guy. I also left out a word or 3 up there but glad you understood what I was going for.

For a long time people actually thought Eddie Haskell grew up to become John Holmes. But no, he was played by Ken Osmond. Oddly, Osmond never made much of a fuss over the confusion!

I'm just worried about Jessica, cause I think the Den of Niceness is a good idea.

I come here looking for friends, because everyone in real life is cruel and demeaning. And, even now, I'm just labeled "schizo."

And I know how it is, cause I was once the same way. You get that label, and, at best, you're to be pitied, not respected as a peer. And, at worst, you're a disease to be avoided. Like people avoid vomit on the sidewalk.

I'm just "cute." Cupe. Innocuous little schizo. Never hurt a fly. Yelling at you while covering your ears.

OH MY GOD, neonspectraltoast ! No, No, No and NOOOOOO.

I think if we abide by what Jessica has asked - not to post unwanted, unasked for opinions, nor to put out negativity...she will be fine. Jessica is amazingly understanding, and I think her thread remains fine.

This thread is also needed. People most certainly are NOT all nice.

But to be honest - I do still run into or meet casually in a store a nice person. They are out there, and they may not be nice always..but my interaction with them is positive.

But constantly perky optimists don't have much realism about them....of course that's jmo

I've always felt like that when being accused of being negative - being realistic is not negative.

But dang it neonspectraltoast none of how you see yourself is how I (and most probably many others here) see you.

I come seeking friendship too...and you are respected as a peer - as much as anybody else! I bet there are lots of people here that think the same thing.

okay - that's all I'm saying that might be construed as nice.

DAMMIT don't think that shit. (that's as mean as I'm gonna get)
