So fill me in, who is this Candy Girl, and WTF is going on over at HF? Why were people banned? Given the history of HipForums and its Nazi mods, there is never a real reason for being banned other than saying something a few narcissistic control freaks disagree with.

Does Shady Skip Stone even have anything to do with the website anymore?

My take on it is CG flooded the site with boring people and boring threads, but Zen kinda ruined it by getting all in everyone's business when before we just got along fine without heavy moderation. He also started a stupid untrue rumour about Faelixx after banning her. CG helped this process by reporting things all over the place and now there is this whole "you can only say positive happy things" atmosphere. Also no-one was allowed to criticise CG, which is why Rolling went... and that was the beginning of the end in my eyes. i mean, eggsprog was banned for being a TROLL. that just sums up how ridiculous it is.

We weren't allowed to have a chat thread in the stoner's lounge anymore because we weren't talking about weed enough. dumb things like that. he completely didn't GET that we were connecting over a style of living and life and people-type and just because we didn't talk about weed all the time doesn't mean it didn't belong on the lounge.

I'm still going with my theory that Candy either murdered Zen or keeps him in a well, and she's using HF for her own nefarious purpose. And we were in her way so she had to get rid of us.

I had a funny feeling back in December when Lolli was banned. She'd been there in the chat room for 10 years, then all sudden Candy shows up and Lolli is gone. I stopped going in when Candy was there except to lurk, and it upset my stomach. Once she was going on how she "saved" the chat room, then she's offering advice to seriously troubled people like she's some sort of counselor. She's nuts, and not in the "good" way either.

All of us are perplexed by this. For me it's the 3rd time watching this crap happen. There was the Mod Wars of 2009 when Samson, FyltheVoyd, Court Lew and a couple of others decided the chat room was their exclusive territory and anyone who didn't like it was banned. Then there was KarenJ, a mod who made the mistake of banning a mod before Skippy caught up with her, finally.

This time, Skip's asleep at the wheel. Candy and her crew turned the chat room into Tranny-land, or at least that's where the discussion always seemed to go. I've been butting heads with Balbus for years. It gets bad, then he goes on a bender, then detox/rehab and we don't see him for weeks. This last time, I think he actually got clean because he turned into an insufferable tyrant moderating the political forums.

Then Zen got into the act and saw me as the problem since I didn't want to talk about far left shit all the time. So he suggested that the only way I'd beat a ban was to clear out of the politics and limit my "right wings views" to the conspiracy thread. That's when I decided it was enough and started posting foul messages to him on my status as I woke up my membership on UKhippy and Radionecks (I run an underground FM station and a webcast feeder wgug.radio12345.com ). And I'm on all kinds of news forums already. So I was basically packing up and leaving. I even trashed my book thread after years of being there and thousands of views.

So I'm just about to hit the door and I get a message from Dice. About a group on reddit. So I go there and 20 something people are there, all of them banned or soon to be. During all this Zen dropped my mod status incrementally. I can only figure that was to keep Skip from noticing. Skip and I used to get along rather well. That's why he made me a mod in 2009, to get in the middle of it and stop the bullshit in the chat room without having to ban the whole lot. But again, Skip's MIA in all of this.

Reddit is a crappy interface for anyone that's accustomed to forums. So I set up a free forum site https://zenhookah.boards.net/ so that we could properly preserve the group and plan a paid site. I've been using vB for a client and knew it's only $20 a month for a cloud-based forum. We only used the free site for 10 days, but generated 1,100 posts across several individualized forums. The site is still working and I've suggested using it to vet people from HF (we already saw that work on reddit), or even get the whole lot of them to come over and do their worst on the free site while this one is developed.

Ultimately, I realized that Zen, Candy and their Troop of Trannies and deviants were likely gloating about having removed all the "problems" from HF. They were unlikely to see our site as a threat. But I know how petty they can be, so I am leaving the free site intact, just in case we need a fallback location should Skip call some back door buddies at vB for a "favor". I do a lot of risk analysis, so my perspective is way over to top to most here. But I know a lot about assholes too. If they can ruin our day with a mouse click, they will. Another thing we did at the free site was turn nearly half of the users into moderators and admins. Just in case we had problems.

So, you've been officially read in on this!

Not at all. If you want to torture yourself scroll through her friends and themes thread or whatever its called from like dec-jan time period. Pretty sure that's where I 1st encountered it.

Also was this Lolli person overweight do you know? She used to refer to her as the fat girl locked in her basement and I beleive the "joke" resurfaced in the thread about peoples opinions on dating fat women.

I remember seeing that too, somewhere there. I thought it was just a joke or something. Didn't realize what was going on. I learned very quickly not to bother the chat regulars, I was basically told to go away, more than once. So, I did. I always got on good with Lolli, she seemed like a sweetheart.
