I rarely get angry. I was upset last year seeing images of the Amazon rainforest on fire shortly after just visiting. Then hearing that it was started by people looking to create more land. Then about a month later seeing and hearing about shark fining. Seeing a video where they capture sharks, cut their fins then throw them back into the ocean to drown. I started feeling apathetic towards human existence afterwards. Not sure why that had such a strong effect on me.

That one has a strong effect on me, too.
Inflicting needless suffering for something we don't need.. Wastefulness... It's horrible. I instantly imagine what that is like for the shark and the lack of empathy displayed by people who can do that indicates the worst level of human superiority complex.

When humans cannot hear nor see pain infliction it doesn't cross their minds. Sharks don't scream and their actions are the same whether flipping around with a fin or not so people don't associate pain.

Actually, about 15 years ago I remember reading a scientific study that declared fish could feel pain. I also remember laughing at that scie tific study too like what it took scientists 8000 years to work that one out? When I see a big Marlin breach the waves to try and rip out a hook, I figured it always knew it was there because it could feel it. ?? Good work scientists. That's some good research.

What makes me angry is when people hurt each other. It makes me angry when there are people whose entire identity is sex. It makes me wonder whose graves most people wouldn't fuck over. Does it even matter how dull our imaginations become, so long as the stimuli adjust for it?

That one plays out fairly regularly. It is not my responsibility to decide what you want, like what planet are you on. Haha. It doesn't really make me angry so much as mildly exasperated.
