WTF my thermostat plays MP3s

I got a fancy new touchscreen thermostat for Christmas. And when I tried to airdrop music from my phone to my stereo, and suddenly it’s playing from my thermostat!

Would be hilarious if it could be set to play the first two notes of this song whenever it reaches a certain temperature.

My rice cooker can also do the same. Sound is shit unless it’s like a computerized piano melody, but funny nonetheless.

Hate it when electronic devices connect with eachother wireless without ever asking for it. When I get a new fridge or thermostat definitely do not want such possibilities...
