I’ll begin

This is my glassware. It’s simple but it’s all I need. I like the golden copper metallic color at the bowl end very much. It changes hues in different lighting.

I used to have more impressive stuff, but I gave most of it away when I took a smoking hiatus for a few years.

I got some CBD bud loaded tonight to take me to slumberland

I remember bitching to Wesley from the old forums (RIP - I forget what his user name used to be) about it, since he also had a very similar one. Nostalgic!

OldSoul I've had it since then and I'm surprised its lasted this long. The bubbler has seen and survived some DMT, Salvia and tokes when other drugs were already consumed.

i'm just tired of glass. i wouldn't be if i had a friend who enjoyed cleaning it every couple of days for me. i still love to smoke a bong. but i just can't be bothered with the cleaning anymore. i haven't smoked one for months and months and months. perhaps i will later. maybe i'll just make it a rare occasion thing.

yup i know what you mean about cleaning glass pieces yeah very tedious sometimes and overall can just become very tiring thing to do like an annoying daily tedious chore 🤔

I don't care to clean either. It's foul, sticks to skin and makes it smell horrible instantly and it's difficult to remove even using very hot water. With glass I use acetone and soak the pieces in a sealed glass jar until the glass is clean. Then I "rinse" it with alcohol to wash as much of the acetone out as possible. Then back to hot water and dish soap to wash away the alcohol. Be aware, acetone vapors are fucking explosive.

Metal pipes are the worst. They conduct heat and burn your fingers when they get too close to the bowl. Not to mention all that heat travels down the pipe and your mouth gets burned very easily too. I don’t understand how anybody likes using them.

Mine has a polycarbonate middle section so the heat at the weed doesn't conduct to my lips through the pipe. Then there's that homemade neoprene banana I toke from during Zoom calls...

I guess if someone is particularly clumsy it might make sense. I've lost a few glass bowls by forgetting that I'm holding them and just dropping them on the floor.

I will never give up my metal one hitter though. It's convenient, and it comes with a lot of sentimental value at this point. Actually now that I think about it, I've had it half my life as of this year.
