Who knew beer came in a box? Is that like boxed wine with a spout? In Canada we call them 6 packs, 12 packs or a 2-4.

But I think beer in box, contained in a plastic bag, with a spout is pretty dumb.

As an actual US American, I have never heard anyone say "box of beer". It wouldn't be wrong or anything, 12 pack and up usually does come in a box, it's just not American slang.

I was born at St Joseph beside High Park.... you are insane if you think that people in Canada have not use that saying millions of times and it's not Regional either.... they're never used to be such a thing as an open six pack held together by plastic rings all domestic beer used to come in boxes no exceptions
