Sativa, indica or hybrid?

I have always been a sativa fan, at least for the last couple of years.
I definitely remember a time when a person had no idea what the weed was. It was just called weed, some bad, some good.

yep, i remember today too. well, kind of anyway; the weed is not the best thing for memory.

Lol...I do remember too well, buying and finding out you just got rooked...and some that had a surprise additive!

As for today, I like that we actually know the different strains, they all have their place. There are times when you need to be able to function somewhat (sativa)
And when you just want it to kick your butt (Indica). There's a third pure strain I've never heard of until like two days ago.
With hybrid, I think it works well for most times. I'm just really glad we're starting to see legalization.

Although I talk to folks who say the biz is way different out west. Much more desirable way of doing things me thinks. Sigh...

I like a good hybrid. Hybrids tend to make me both relaxed and energetic at the same time. Not a huge fan of sativas because they make me paranoid and anxious.
Not that I can really be picky because I'm not in a legal state

I would probably say hybrid, I seem to differ from many with Sativa in that I don't find it particularly energizing. I like both Sativa and Indica as well tho.

Indicas just make me fall asleep. Great if im having trouble sleeping, but sux when I wanna enjoy a nice high. I dont wanna sleep through the fun part

I've got these two plants growing right now, both apparently indica. One is short and bushy as you'd expect, and the other is tall and lanky like a sativa.

At this point I think that the terms indica and sativa aren't really accurate even when you know which strain it is, at least for tracing back the genetics. They are still useful for describing the effects of a strain though.

no idea whether about what it will be in regards to the thread topic, but you might be interested to know.. my little brother gave me a small plant he grew from a seed he smuggled back from India last summer, so I pollenized it with one of the Canadian hash plants that went male. i have about fifteen seeds i will attempt to grow this year.

People give me strains and tell me to watch out its strong. Pfff. No stronger than anything else I smoke I can grow myself.

As for euphoric differences, yeah sometimes one will initially a stronger high but after 15mins it all fades into the same stoned feeling I get with anything.

But I've been a daily smoker for a decade now so my tolerance is through the roof.

Have you heard of Delta-8-THC? It varies slightly from THC but is also derived from cannabis. I discovered it in edible form via a smoke shop recently and do recommend it if you're looking for something a little less intense than a full blown high. 3 25 mgs gummies (I take high doses of regular THC edibles so 2 may suffice) has me high in an indica-ish sort of way without feeling overly drowsy or couch locked. It's not quite as intense nor does it elicit the same level of introspection as weed but produces a lot of the same sensorial effects, like music sounds good on it and I've been fascinated by videos accompanying music, so I imagine cartoons would be enjoyable if that's what you like stoned.

It seems like sometimes just switching strains will do that. Like you can develop a tolerance to one particular kind and then when you smoke something else it hits hard even if it's not actually any stronger.
