Does anyone play? We started playing it earlier this year because we wanted a good two player card game and I really enjoy it.

I used to play gin all the time as a kid (this is what kids growing up in the 90s who didn't have cable did I guess, play cards) but I haven't played it in years. Not sure I remember how now

But it was one of my favorite card games as a kid

Never played. Hearts and Pitch would be my faves. Poker is pretty awesome also.

euchre is the only card game i ever really got into. we used to play all the time in high school. now i live two hours away from there and no one's ever heard of it.

really! i was half going to ask if anyone had heard of euchre but thought nah no point
i don't play it but fisherman loves it. he discovered he can play it online so i've watched quite a lot but i still haven't quite made sense of the rules.

Jessica it definitely seems to be regional. I'm not sure what the regions are, but it is huge in some places and unheard of in others.

I've only played spades a couple times, but basically it's like a cousin to that game if you've ever played it. It's not that hard to learn, but it would probably be easier if you played it instead of just watching.

I never really got euchre, but my wife used to play in university a lot.

Has anyone played queens? Not sure if it is known by other names or not. Usually a 4 player game.

You guys ever tried a gin-gin mule? It's a 10/10.

no, but i've done a gin-gin-gin mule. you feed a mule 3 shots of gin and try to ride it through an obstacle course.
