i'm pretty sure most americans are at least aware of the 24 hour clock (although i am disappointed at people's math skills every time i see someone try to figure out a time conversion). but i still prefer this thread title because it doesn't partially spoil the effect before you get here.Comment

It just tells us what the numbers mean according to numerology, but it doesn't explain why it means that (probably because no one knows). Why does the number 1 and 2 have the things attributed to them that they have, and why (other than people just attributing it to it, or following what more experienced astrologers or numerologists say it is) are their influences stronger in this year (when we know this year is based on an arbitrary calender. I know, so how can these numerological meanings apply on several calendars? Isn't that a strong indication how arbitrary it is? 'The year 2121'... There is no such year in the cosmic sense. Its an arbitrary date and use of numbers that only makes sense in the way we apply it. Same with a number 1 or 2.Comment

In the Middle East/Persia it was known as Serendib. Named after this Persian tale Three Princes of Serendib, who go after their father sends them away so they don’t get spoiled, go around Forrest Gumping their way into good fortune, just by being open to the experience.
In the end they do good and “discover” Sri Lanka. It’s where the word Serendipity comes from. A good accident.Comment

21 represents duality & leadership because for me I put the astrological & numerological significance of 2 & 1 with these attributes:
2 = duality, partnerships, love partners, business partnerships, 2 minds professional & personal relationships and there are many other dual symbolism that I love ♥
1 = Leadership, self-sufficiency, Sun (in Greek 'Apollo') energy for optimistic influence in the world, self-determination etc

niftypebble21 I agree, I am just saying if I could acknowledge the reason to go with that religion, I would go with such a religion And before I immerse myself further in the theory of astrology or numerology again, I would know of people who already do so, why those meanings are applied to it. Otherwise I feel I could immerse myself just as well in the doctrines of Pastafari
