Dry ice hash - fresh or dried+cured buds?

I'm interested as to whether anyone has compared yields and quality of dry ice hash when made with fresh frozen material vs. cured and dried buds. I was planning on making it with fresh stuff to avoid the hassle of hanging it and curing it, but I'll put in the work if it makes a better product or substantially improves yield.

Thoughts?

I should add that I have tried the live resin method and I felt the results weren't nearly as good as using dry bud the thing to remember is shity weed will produce shity hash... in the old days people would save their trim to make hash but I just throw it in the trash now and use the best bud possible I have learned my lesson

I actually throw the trim to the chickens they will gobble it up
