They would not have been a succes if everybody experienced music exactly like me.

Man, I'd never listened to Roxy Music before. Lovin' this last song. I know Brian Eno was in Roxy Music...I think so, anyway. Love his stuff. It's somewhat more brainy, though, I guess. LOVE it!

Eno was with them only for their first two albums. He left following the second album to pursue his own solo career, which had a HUGE impact on music.

But Roxy Music were great in their own right. Even without Eno.

I used to listen to "Here Come the Warm Jets" and Taking Tiger island all the time. Was there another one in there? His first two or three were my favorites.

After Taking Tiger Mountain, his music started to go in a more ambient direction with albums like Discreet Music, Another Green World, and Before and After Science. After that he pretty much went fully ambient with the Ambient 1-4 series.

I would say all the albums I just mentioned rank among my favorite albums of all time.

I'm not as big of a fan of the pure ambient stuff -- I need to have tunes. Another Green World, though, superb.

You wouldn't happen to know which song it is that kinda drops off and then this almost bluegrass, smooth guitar noodling comes in, would you? That's my favorite song. The album's were confusing to me, though, never memorized the track listings. The song I'm talking about is so peaceful...I'd really like to hear it right now.
