It's very different from West Georgia Underground Radio (https://wgug.radio12345.com)

Haven't tried that for a while.
When I used to follow (American) Football, I listened to preseason games online, for a fee. Several years ago..

Turned out to be a rip-off. I only got to halftime of the first preseason game. And no refund.
I don't watch much of the big three american games anymore. I'm convinced much of certain sports is rigged.
Funny when they show highlights on ESPN and you watch a defender follow the wide receiver he's covering, into the end zone, worse yet the defensive back patted the receiver on the back like "atta-boy" @ about the five yard line. He could've tackled him at the 25 yd line.

Funny when they show highlights on ESPN and you watch a defender follow the wide receiver he's covering, into the end zone, worse yet the defensive back patted the receiver on the back like "atta-boy" @ about the five yard line. He could've tackled him at the 25 yd line.
Just an example.

The NFL has instituted rules where it's practically impossible to play defense on a wide receiver now. Cornerbacks basically get paid to chase the guy around and try to distract him.

What will you be broadcasting/streaming?

We're setting up each station differently. Partly because of where they are located. But the focus will be on local programming, especially local talent. So we encourage MP3 files for anyone who wants to be "famous" on an extremely limited market.

The main West Georgia station is a mix of all kinds of stuff, 24 hours without repeating a song. Villa Rica is a collection of urban vibes but with some weird other stuff like middle eastern, African, German, Trinidadian, New Wave, Punk, classics. Stuff needs to be sorted, but that's up to DJ Rico and not me. (My taste is questionable)

Both streams are up and running now. We have another we're calling The Rock Pile because it's 40 hours of unsorted head banging rock and roll. But the server is delayed.

We're trying to do a lot of things at once and this medium seems to work. So much good music has fallen through the cracks. Atlanta radio sucks, 25 CDs and fuckloads of commercials.

For the moment, that's how we're operating. Since each station requires a server, growth will be slow. But this is a long game.

We should make a streaming radio station for this place. It's simple really, just stringing MP3 files together. But it would be a way to spread our identity around.
