captain is one half Pyrenees mountain dog and one half marrema mountain dog.... French Alps and the Italian Alps ... world's best Guardian dog

Just logged into my Microsoft cloud found a bunch of old pictures I didn't even know where there here is the same dog as a puppy my little captain

I had that cat for a couple of years in I never named it and I remember on the other website people being upset that I refused to name my cat

My grandparents had 2 unnamed outdoor cats at their place. They were almost feral, but they let us pet them once in a while. My siblings and I called one of them Blacky. I can’t remember what we named the other. Of course I don’t think the cats ever recognized their names.

Found this pic, this is Patches, the last cat I had when living with my parents. He was a super chill cat, had a bit of a catnip problem though and I was an enabler.

I don't think any cats recognize their names. Or maybe they do, and they just feign deafness like I do when I hear my name at work.

I think Patches knew his name, at least at a certain pitch. He would stroll on over most of the time his name was called or flick his tail if he didn't want to be bothered. He was quite affectionate for a cat, even "saved" us once by charging at a stray dog twice his size that was in the driveway.

We took in a neighbor's cat that was abandoned when they moved and she was the exact opposite, always hissing and swiping at us and Patches.
