    Epic Movies

I like those really long ones that have an intermission in the middle. I also like some historical perspectives, two in particular about Hawaii (I used to live there).

While not perfectly accurate, they're still very well made.

Apocalypse Now. Back in the summer of '92 we'd get together at a friends house every night and get stoned, and often watch this. We had lots of the lines memorized by the time school was back in session.

Actually, I'd like to say that the Pirates of the Caribbean films are epic! Too lazy to be bothered to find another image right now though. :P

I was peaking on blotter when I sat in my seat at the planetarium for Momentary Lapse of Reason. It was fucking mesmerizing, of course, but even though it was a relatively short show, I felt like I was cold sober when I walked out. I remember it was Memphis and snow was on the ground.
