Danny Tanner and Uncle Joey were a gay couple living together in San Francisco, raising a bunch of little girls. That’s what the show was about. Of course, in the 80s when it came out, this would’ve been way too controversial for a family show. So they masqueraded them as brothers instead.

It all makes sense. Danny and Joey were very super girly effeminate men. Living in the most notoriously gay city in America. Since when does a guy share the role of raising his brother’s daughters by acting as the 2nd parent, while living in the same townhouse?

Well, you didn't miss much. It was a cringe show full of precious shit and corny jokes. But I grew up without cable TV, and the only channel I had for kid's entertainment was ABC. So I didn't have as many options.
