I've come to the conclusion that except for sometimes on the live news, there isn't a single "reality show" on TV. They are all set up and nobody and I mean nobody is ever alone in the rain forests or in the north pole. Can you imagine if you will a guy walking barefoot thru a jungle filled with scorpians, gators, pythons, etc? Not to mention "Naked & Afraid." If I was naked and alone with some of the chicks I've seen on this show, I'd be very afraid. As for WWF ... OMG!!! All their moves are rehersed before they get into the ring. Are people that dumb to think that these men and women are really fighting?

Since you mentioned WWF, I'll say that I contend that all other major sports are Real, at least in terms of the players playing the game. Maybe you could say the refs/umpires can control a game in such a way which makes it somewhat coordinated, or even the league offices, this is particularly noticeable when it goes against my teams but in general I think they are real. -
Yeah I think the major sports are probably at least 90% real. Depending on which league, there is a certain amount of stacking the deck in favor of whoever is favored, but there's not that much that can be done without being obvious about it.
As far as pro wrestling, they haven't even pretended to be real in my lifetime.
News is pretty iffy too. Probably a bit more real than survivor I suppose.Comment

Reality TV shows didn't explode in popularity until all filming went digital. They say that 95% of what's filmed in reality TV is cut out and never shown. So the way they pick and choose what to include in the show is very scripted. Lots of these reality shows have rigged outcomes as well. Game shows have been rigged since the 70s.

Reality tv shows are boring because there are too many of the same type of tv show on.
For example you will see here on Free to air tv channels there are shows such as master chef, where kids and adults get voted off.
The block where you get couples voted off.
Big brother where people get voted off.
The bacholler and whatever else love show gets voted off.
All shit shows.
