Brosnan is a better Bond than Craig

Die Another Day was on Foxtel today, I stayed back at work to watch it

I got excited, even though it gets really silly with the CGI at the end, I was happy it was a Brosnan Bond movie

Brosnan gives us what Bond should be

If you disagree, get ready for me to so not care

Craig plays the character closer to the way it was written. Which a lot of people didn't care for. But when you read the stories you get into the head of a different character. In the movies Bond is so often portrayed as being "happy". In the books, he's miserable but duty-bound and will do anything for the crown. He also gets tortured a lot which the films only gloss over.

As movies go, I liked Roger Moore's portrayal as a gentleman spy, but Craig is an asshole, which fits the original story better. Craig is also ugly enough to be believed, Brosnan looks like an aging cabana boy.

Connery is James Bond, the rest are merely actors.

I liked him better in Highlander and Red October. But of course, nobody else could have done Diamonds Are Forever like Sean. Goldfinger as well.

Saw Pierce in person back in 1999. At Dave Letterman's CBS TV show. He was pushing the remake of "The Thomas Crowne Affair".

The last 2 Bond movies with Brosnan made me fed up with Bond, which really got affirmed stronger when Craig took over. A blonde Bond? Who drinks Heineken instead of shaken vodka? Bullshit

As has been discussed often enough; Goldeneye was the last top notch Bond movie
