There’s a special charm about old cartoons that pre-date digital computer-assisted animation. So much work went into drawing everything frame by frame that most people take for granted.

Watching these old cartoons is a good history lesson to see how cultural views have changed, and how life was like.

I really love the way Disney tied in the orchestrated music to their animations. And the lifelike motions of the characters they managed to pull of, with limited technology they had in the early-mid 20th century.

Even the cartoons themselves were often politically incorrect, and would never fly in today’s hyper-sensitive society.

One such example I wanna share with you is this one. I love the opening song ?

Both. I have a strong appreciation for 2D animators who do things the old school way of drawing each picture frame-by-frame.

That cartoon was based on a poem-I think it is called “Casey at Bat”. I remember reading it in elementary school. No joy in Mudville.

but yeah, it’s pretty impressive how 6-eyed can make any topic, no matter how seemingly innocent, into a commentary on today’s PC society. Seems like a stressful way to live.
