... Sheryl Crow sang the theme song for the Bond movie "Tomorrow Never Dies?" I learned something new today.
"The embers of our past lives lie smouldering within us awaiting the winds of remembrance to fan them in flames of reality." Dax.

I was not aware, although that's not something I would have expected to know anyway.

The infamous "chestburster" scene in Alien was essentially an authentic reaction by the actors as they were not made aware of what was going to happen. Apparently there were a couple takes that kind of gave it away, one with the blood coming through the shirt and I think even one with the Alien coming through the chest but they upped the amount of blood and had it spray out on the final take.

After watching The Matrix Trilogy recently I discovered a few, as well as checked out some youtube vids that mentioned easter eggs:
                  • In continuity with the "Follow the White Rabbit" command Neo receives on his computer, not only is there the tattoo scene where he meets Trinity but also in the room with the potentials ("There is no spoon" kid and co) there is a movie showing rabbits in the background.
                  • The Merovigian or "Frenchman" came to prominence in one of the earlier iterations of The Matrix, I believe sometimes referred to as "The Hell Matrix" which contrasted the original "Heaven Matrix" and that's why some of his closest henchman are Werewolf and Ghost type programs.
                  • The architect in Reloaded is foreshadowed with the screen displays in his room shown in the scene in The Matrix that leads into the room Thomas Anderson is getting interrogated by Agent Smith.
                  • The falling matrix code is alluded to a few times throughout the Trilogy: Window cleaner at the beginning of The Matrix and the rain where Neo goes to meet Trinity and Switch to get the bug extraction and the final battle against Smith in the rain in Revolutions.
                  • When Neo frees Agent Smith, Smith no longer works with the other Agents and I think it's implied that he can no longer assume the shell of normal people or programs without touching them.
