Larry Hagman was a avid pot smoker. Hung out a lot with James Garner.. Although Hagman was a member of a 12-step program, he publicly advocated marijuana as a better alternative to alcohol. In 1995, Hagman underwent a life-saving liver transplant after he was diagnosed with liver cancer which was most likely brought on by approximately 40 years of heavy drinking.Comment
